MUSIC HORROR SURVIVORS TELL ALL
by Anonymous

Hollywood, CA
July 2, 2001

Janet Fisher, professional songwriter and music publisher has some new "truths" to tell about the music industry through her new book, "Music Horror Stories: A Collection Of Gruesome, True Tales As Told By Actual Innocent Victims Seeking A Career In The Music Business" (ISBN 0970356374).

From the opening band at Woodstock, to the girl who "couldn't" play for Bob Dylan, a reader becomes party to insider stories about the life of the working musician.

"Nightmare on Music Street! This is no "Soup" book. Do NOT take this book to bed with you!"
proclaims the warning label.

The actual 208 page read is full of more belly
laughs and comic irony than one might think from the title. Anyone who has been employed by, or known someone employed by, the entertainment industry will definitely enjoy the pictures painted here.

Along with original "scary art," contributed by artist gak, the printing also contains an
invitation for the reader to enter their own Horror Story for possible sequels.

"My kid wanted to drop out of school and start a band. Then I left a copy of MUSIC HORROR STORIES
on his bed...now all he ever talks about is being accepted at a good college." quips the alleged
parent of an ex-wannabe.

"MUSIC HORROR STORIES" has its own self-titled URL website, www.music-horror-stories.com , which contains a history of how the book was compiled, and is also found at amazon.com.
